WODsoup
on Android

Your WODsoup account works in any browser, with your PRs and your gym if it uses WODsoup. Sign in, then add WODsoup to your home screen so it opens like an app.

Open the web app

The web app lives at

wodsoup.netlify.app/app

What the web app does

Works on the web

  • Track your PRs (lifts, runs, sprints, jumps, max reps and tests of your own), each with its own chart
  • Run training sessions from a plan or as you go, with a summary at the end
  • All 287 benchmark WODs, with your scores
  • Join your gym with its code
  • Read and sign the waiver, with a parent or guardian if you’re under 18
  • Read your gym’s announcements
  • Do the workouts your coach sends, set by set, and mark them done
  • See those workouts on a calendar

Your PRs, sessions and plans are saved to your account, so they’re the same here and in the iPhone app. You don’t need a gym to use them. From a laptop, gym owners can also approve members, mark dues, post announcements and open signed waivers, and coaches can manage groups, see their athletes’ PRs, log results for them and rank them on a team board.

iPhone app only

  • Building and sending workouts
  • Your own training log and lift history
  • Hosting a gym, and uploading its waiver
  • Notifications
  • Deleting your account

On the web, the weights and reps you log in your coach’s workouts are saved on that phone or computer, and you can change them after you finish. Unlike the iPhone app, they don’t follow you to other devices. No iPhone and want your account deleted? Email me from your account’s email address.

Any browser

Add it to your
home screen

There’s nothing to download. Use the browser you normally open on your phone, whether that’s Chrome, Samsung Internet or Firefox.

  1. Step 1

    Open the web app

In your phone’s browser, go to wodsoup.netlify.app/app and sign in, or create an account if you don’t have one yet.

  2. Step 2

    Open the browser’s menu

Usually the ⋮ in the top-right corner. On Samsung Internet it’s the ≡ at the bottom right.

  3. Step 3

Add it to your home screen

Tap Add to home screen or Install, depending on the browser. On Samsung Internet, tap Add page to, then Home screen.

  4. Step 4

Open it from your home screen

WODsoup gets its own icon. Add it from the browser you signed in with, because that’s where your sign-in and logged weights are kept.

Chrome
  1. Tap ⋮ at the top right.
  2. Tap Add to home screen.
  3. Tap Install.
Samsung Internet
  1. Tap ≡ at the bottom right.
  2. Tap Add page to.
  3. Tap Home screen.
Firefox
  1. Tap ⋮.
  2. Tap Add to home screen or Install.
Another browser?

Look in its menu for Add to home screen. Some browsers add a shortcut that opens in a normal tab instead of full screen. It works the same way.

Don’t see the option?

You’re probably inside another app’s built-in browser. If you opened the link from Messages, Instagram or Facebook, use that screen’s menu to open it in your phone’s browser first.

On a laptop?

Go to wodsoup.netlify.app/app in any browser and bookmark it. Some browsers also show an install button at the end of the address bar.
